Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive
The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) will conduct its annual national food drive on Saturday, May 14th.
This one-day food drive, the largest in the country, started in 1983. Letter carriers collect food donations on that day as they deliver mail along their postal routes, and distribute them to local food banks, pantries, shelters and churches.
To participate, simply leave your donation of unopened, non-perishable food items next to your mailbox before your mail gets delivered on Saturday, May 14th.
(Only unopened, non-perishable items are accepted; please do not leave out perishable items like fresh produce or bread, and do not leave out already-opened or partially-eaten food items.)
